Obituary of Irene Capordelis
Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on Sunday, September 5th, 2021 at the age of 93. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 54 years Polycarpos.
Beloved Mother and Grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family, Tony (Sonia), their sons Paulo and Gianni and Konstantinos (Lucie) and daughter Karolyne (Remi) and their son Xavier.
She is survived by her brother Kostas Kotantoulas (Voula) and sister Maria Bourdos (late Stavros). Predeceased by her brother Christos Kotantoulas (Eleftheria), and her sisters Golfo and Eleni. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, in Ottawa, Montreal and Greece.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Thursday, September 9th at the Dormition of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (1315 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa). A private funeral service will follow by invitation only due to Covid-19 restrictions. Interment at Pinecrest Cemetery will follow.
She will remain forever in our hearts. May God rest her soul.
