On December 28, 2021, Mrs. Irene Paranteau of St. Lina/Mallaig passed away at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Les of 56 years; children, Judy, Clay, Lou-Anne (John) & Carrie; 7 grandchildren, Amber (Leroy) Cardinal, Alex Bilau, Aaron Bilau, Leslie, Nicole, Lily & Stevie Paranteau; 3 great-grandchildren, Teegan Denis, Tristen Bilau & Sapphire Paranteau; 2 brothers & 6 sisters; & numerous nieces & nephews. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Floyd & Nellie Nelson; mother-in-law, Zadie Paranteau; 3 brothers, Harvey, Bobbie & Wayne Nelson. Cremation has taken place.
