With profound sadness, we announce the sudden death of
Hunter William Robert Mills, 7, of
Southampton, NS, on Monday, October 18th,
2021.
Born in Truro, NS, he was the son of Vincent Mills and Jayde
Doyle-Mills of Southampton, Nova Scotia.
Even though he was taken from this world too soon, Hunter
significantly impacted the lives of many. His infectious smile and
kind eyes were adored by all who knew him. Hunter gave the best hugs
and could make everyone around him laugh, smile, and feel loved.
Hunter loved collecting rocks. If you were lucky enough to know
Hunter, he had probably gifted you a rock, his way of saying, “I
love you”. He loved his teddy bears, there were never too many.
He loved arranging them and picking which ones he wanted to spend time
with that day, each ‘holding a special place in his
heart’. Hunter loved the outdoors. Hiking, exploring the
beaches and swimming no matter how cold the water. Hunter loved to
dance and would start to move when he heard his favourite songs. He
also loved his youtube, watching videos that made him laugh.
Most of all, Hunter loved spending time with his Mom and
Dad.
There are no words to express the extraordinary love Hunter
brought into this world.
Hunter will be deeply missed by his Momma and Dad (Jayde
& Vincent Mills), his maternal grandparents; Grampy &
Granny (Jeff and Joan Doyle), his paternal grandparents; Gramps
& Grammy (Rick & Christine), his uncle; Brandon, and
his aunty; Hanna, his cousins; Dean, Reese, Irelyn, Leona, Audrey,
Liam, Riley, Lucy, Polly, Walker & Landon and his many close
friends and family including all of his grade 2 classmates and
teachers.
There is a special kind of love in this world that you only
get to experience when you’re around someone like Hunter; he will
always be remembered for how much love he brought to so
many.
Our sweet Bubba we will love you forever, to the moon and
back a million times over.
