97 years, passed away peacefully at home, on Tuesday December 14, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Lina Freitas (nee Couto). Dear father of Maria Tavares (Antonio), Joe Freitas (Crisalda), Jason Honorato Freitas (Ireny). Loving grandfather of Robert Tavares (Karen), Sandra Seeto (Ryan), Ricky Freitas, Emily Gerardo (Rui), Daniel Freitas, Fernando Freitas and great grandfather to Eric, Evan, Owen, Levin, Asher and Hudson. Dear brother of late Maria Cabral (late Benjamin), late Manuel de Freitas (late Maria da Gloria and late Maria da Conceicao), Alzira Rebelo (late Carlos), Hortencia (late Manuel), late Amancio de Freitas (late Georgina), Artimiza Braga (late Isaias). Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting at Reid Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 14 Russell St., Leamington (519-326-2631) Friday, December 17, 2021 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am. Mass of the resurrection will be held at St. Michaels Church, 29 Elliot Street Leamington, On Friday, December 17th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Erie Cemetery Wheatley to follow. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation and the funeral service are limited to a specific number of visitors. Only those with an appointment will be allowed in.
