Henrietta “Penny” Howard Dean Pettipas
Born February 2, 1937
Age 84, of Plymouth and formerly of Caledonia, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the Aberdeen
Hospital, New Glasgow, with family at her side. Born in Dean, Penny was a daughter of the late
Christopher and Emily (Dean) Fisher. Penny was a long time resident of Caledonia where she was the
cook for Hugh Erskine for many years before moving to Plymouth. She was a member of the East River
Pastoral Charge.
Penny is survived by sisters Fern (Matt) Miles, Dartmouth and Emily Dunbar, Wentworth; sisters in law
Carol Fisher, Dartmouth; Diane Fisher, Central Onslow; Isabell Kennedy, Ontario and Hilda Dunn, New
Minas, also by many nieces and nephews.
Penny was predeceased by her husband Frank, son Kenneth; bothers Albert, David, Roy, Ralph, Art,
Lewis, Duncan and John Fisher; sisters Margaret and Blanche and special cousin Ethel Hawes.
Cremation has taken place with no funeral due to Covid 19 restrictions. Burial will take place at a later
date in the Bethel Cemetery, Caledonia
