Obituary of Helena Pokladek
Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on April 6, 2021, Helena Pokladek in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Roman Pokladek (1985). Loving mother to Donna Vanden Hoven (Tony) and Janet Boychuk (Donato Diponio). Proud grandmother to Rich (Katy), Michael, Jeff (Melissa), Jenna and Kellie, and great grandmother to Colin, Jackson and Roman. Survived by her sister Leokadia Bentkowski. Helena was predeceased by her daughter Christina Ernest (2012), son-in-laws Alan Ernest (2018) and Randy Boychuk (2009), and sister Bronia Adamczyk (2012). She will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family service was held with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by John T. Donohue Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to Alzheimer Society London and Middle.
