Helen Calder Sines March 3 1924 August 13 2021

Helen Dorothy Calder Sines, much loved wife of the late William Calder (1977) and the late John Sines (2009) passed away with her family by her side at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday August 13, 2021. She will be missed greatly by her children Marion & Bob Thompson of Windsor and Robert Calder of Es, by her grandchildren Chrisandra & Scott Rollins and Paul & Rachel Mardegan, and by her great grandchildren Brinlee and Avery Rollins. She will also be missed fondly by John’s children Lynda & Don Deschamps and Stephen Sines and their children Whitney Kay, Amanda Kay, Elizabeth Deschamps, Erica Deschamps, Christopher Sines and Gregory Sines (predeceased by Meghan Kay and Trevor Deschamps).
Helen was born 97 years ago in Walkerville to James & Georgina Lynd. She worked for many years for Revenue Canada. Her retirement years brought her from Sudbury to Rondeau Park. After John passed away, she moved to Blenheim. She was a kind and caring soul who made friends wherever she went. She will be missed by her church family at Glad Tidings Community Church in Blenheim.
It was Helen’s wish that cremation take place with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date in Glad Tidings Church.
Friends wishing to remember her with a memorial donation are asked to consider Glad Tidings Church or a charity of your choice.
