MacKinnon; Hazel Mary Elizabeth (nee Clavette) – at Lennox & Addington County General Hospital on Friday, March 19, 2021, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by her husband of over 40 years, Arthur Rattie and more recently, by Richard MacKinnon of Napanee. Beloved mother of Alvin Rattie (Debbie), Terry Rattie (Linda), Raymond Ratte (Cheryl) and Clayton Ratte (Susan), all of Napanee.
Hazel will be dearly missed by her grandchildren: Derek, Charity, Darrell, Brent, Nikki, Megan, Adam, Charlotte and Becky, as well as her 18 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her siblings: Wesley Clavet of Napanee, Marcel Clavette of Napanee, Maxine Price of New Brunswick and Clarence Clavette also of New Brunswick.
Hazel was born in Campbellton, New Brunswick. She and her family moved to Ontario in the 1960’s, settling in the Napanee area. She worked as a PSW at the Village Green Nursing Home in Selby for many years.
Aquamation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Hazel’s memory would be appreciated by her family. Online condolences and donations at www.wartmanfuneralhomes.com
