Hughes – The death
occurred peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Andrews of
Summerside, on Monday, November 22, 2021, of Hazel Hughes, of
Summerside, age 97 years. Born in Sturgeon, she was the daughter of
the late Samuel “Sam” and Annie (White) Nicholson. Survived
by her children Brenda Sheculski, Sheila (Jim) Dunbar and Kevin
Hughes; grandchildren Jeffrey, Sarah, Shauna, Amanda, Joel, David and
Derek; and by great-grandchildren Kaitlynn, Cameron, Delilah, Evelyn,
Penny and Logan. Predeceased by her husband of 70 years, Derek Hughes;
daughter-in-law Pam (Turner) Hughes; and by son-in-law Gordon
Sheculski. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. No Visiting
Hours or Funeral Service by request. A Graveside Service will be held
at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley for family. Memorial
donations to the Trinity United Church or the Prince County Hospital
Foundation would be appreciated.
