Harold Kornelsen passed away at the age of 42, on August 13, 2021, in Arborg, Manitoba. He leaves behind to grieve, both his parents, 5 brothers and 5 sisters, their spouses and children.
Harold was born on January 28, 1979 to John & Lydia Kornelsen as the second child in the family.
In 1997 he got baptized upon his confession of faith. He always had a tender heart for others and a listening ear, always trying to make sure that he was in right standing with others. He loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, always making time to interact with them.
In 2000, he joined the US Navy for 4 years of active duty. Shortly after his release he developed schizophrenia, which often left him debilitated with fear and anxiety. As such, even though we as family are grieving the loss of our dear brother/son, we are also thankful that he no longer has to live in fear or anxiety. We are thankful that his mind is whole and that he can be at peace.
Harold was a man full of life and creativity and now he gets to be that again with Jesus.
