On September 1 2021, Hannah Winnifred Janes, passed away at the age of 95.
Loving mother of Paul Janes (Anna Maria). Cherished grandmother of Valissa & Zachary. Beloved sister of Fred, Elsie, Eileen & Helen.
Winnifred will forever be in the hearts of many extended family and friends from Canada and in the United States.
She enjoyed simple things in life but things that mattered greatly – playing cards, lawn bowling and the local lunch with friends and her Friday night Wendy’s group.
It was Hannah’s wish to hold a small private graveside service in her memory, at Avondale Cemetery, and to be laid to rest with her beloved husband, the love of her life, who predeceased her in 2000 and whom she missed terribly – Norman Douglas Janes.
