Born on April 28, 1961 in Sydney, David was the son of Horace and Frances (Ripley) Gray and grew up in Gabarus.

Dave loved to travel, especially to Disney World with his family and best friends, Brad and Brenda George. He was employed by Dave Laite of Heather Mobile Homes, where he will be missed by his co-workers, Jimmy and Brian.
