Obituary of Gordon Wayne Chittick
It is with great sadness, the family of Gordon Chittick, shares the news of his passing on October 18, 2021.
Beloved husband to Geraldine (Laing) for 52 years. Devoted Father of son Andrew (Bonnie) Chittick and daughters Becky (Eric) Veen, and Sonya (Mike) Cowper. Adored Grandfather to Meaghan and Spencer Chittick, Ethan, Seth and Anna Veen, and Gavin, Tristan and Emalyn Cowper.
Cherished brother of Clare (Trudy) Chittick, Joan (Al) Litchfield and Brother-in-law to Bernice (Keith) Patterson, and Catherine (Chris) Cumming, and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Harold and Gladys Chittick.
Gordon lived his life serving the Lord he loved, and loving his family well. He was a long-time member of Grace Community Church where he served many years. He worked at Finnie Distributing for 55 years and was enjoying his retirement years working for Dekalb. Gordon was a calm, patient, loving man who will be most remembered for his great big smile.
Visitation will be held at GRACE COMMUNITY CHURCH, 16 Hillside Ct, St. Marys, on Friday, October 22, during the afternoon and evening. Please RSVP for a time (see below).
