Peacefully passed at Au Chateau Home for the Aged (Sturgeon Falls) on December 9, 2021 with his family by his side at the age of 89 years. Gord was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Predeceased by his beloved wife Kathleen ‘Kaye’ Bothwell. Loving father of Peter (Chantal) and Michael (Tracey). Proud grandfather of Dave Lindsay (Tamara), Anne Beaudry (Carl), Serge Seguin, Brooke Benson (Casey), Kaitlin Lindsay (Kevin) and great grandfather of Alexa, Theo, Ella, Logan, Hayden, Hailey, Trey, Tristan and Mackenzie. Predeceased by his parents; Graham and Elizabeth Lindsay and his siblings, Isabel McInnis (Mike- surviving) and Jeannie Mattice (Lyle). Gord was a member of the Sturgeon Falls Masonic Lodge #447 and a Noble of the North Bay Rorab Shrine Club. He worked for Hydro One for 43 years and drove as a volunteer driver for the Canadian Cancer Society for over 15 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and was passionate about woodworking. Sincere gratitude to the caring staff at Au Chateau for their devoted care provided during this time. In respecting Gordon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements under the direction of McGuinty Funeral Home (Sturgeon Falls).
