Gordon David “Gordie” Hughes
1943-2021
The death occurred, peacefully, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021
of Gordon Hughes in his 78th year. Survived by his wife, Olive
(McCarville) Hughes, daughter Diane (Mike) Anderson and son David.
Also survived by brothers Frank and Steve (Sandra) and sister Joan
Simmonds.
Predeceased by sister Margaret (Marnie) McGonnell and brother
Kevin as well as his parents J. Frank Hughes and Helen (MacIsaac)
Hughes, Charlottetown.

Home.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be no visitation. A
private funeral service (by invitation only) will be held at Saint
Dunstan’s Basilica, Charlottetown on Saturday, April 24 with
interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery.
If so desired, donations may be made to the PEI Lung
Association or the PEI Humane Society.
