Obituary of Gloria Margaret Mitchell
MITCHELL, Gloria Margaret (Langlois)
Passed away peacefully on July 30, 2021 at the age of 71. Beloved mother of David (Satawan) Veighey, Steven (Corrine Lally) Mitchell and Lauren (Jeremy Potts) Mitchell. Loving grandma of Sonny, Max, Stella and Penny. Beloved daughter of Dona (McGorman) and the late Bruce Langlois (1994). Dear sister of Jim (Terri) Langlois. Dear aunt of Michael (Leslie), Jamie Ann (Todd), Nicole (Graham) and Jason (Jenna). Gloria graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Psychology and later achieved a Masters in Business Administration. Gloria valued her careers at both The Child’s Place and Canada Border Services Agency. In retirement Gloria was able to focus on her passion for environmentalism and wildlife conservation through volunteering her time as a member on the board of the Lake Erie Country Club. She loved spending time with her family and travelling with friends. She especially enjoyed her time at the lake, sitting by the marsh, and appreciating the wildlife at her doorstep. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
