Glen William Lacharity 1949 2021

Obituary of Glen William Lacharity
Glenn Lacharity, at the age of 72, peacefully passed away in hospital, on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Beloved son of the late William and Phyllis (Grey) Lacharity. Left with many cherished memories are his wife, Lorraine (Erickson), daughter, Tara, Grandson Anthony, sister, Heather (Bill), second father to Cindy(Neil) and Daniel, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
A hard worker and long-time Bell employee, Glenn enjoyed his early retirement by operating the Danford Lake Hotel with Lorraine, taking contract work in the USA, doing the longest newspaper delivery route known to man, and watching as much sports on TV as humanly possible. He was an incredible combination of rough, tough, caring, crabby, sarcastic, funny and generous. An athlete in his youth, we have no doubt he now joins his late brothers, John (Anne) and Terry (Lorraine) in one of the roughest, toughest games of broomball Heavenly possible.
Due to COVID restrictions, Glenn’s life celebration is postponed until it is safe to gather in later 2021. Donations can be made to The Gatineau Valley Retirement Village at www.gvrv.ca or GVRV, #373 Route 105, Kazabazua, QC, J0X 1X0.
