Obituary of Gladys Mabel Simpson
SIMPSON, Gladys (Gault)
Passed away peacefully on April 19, 2021 at the Leamington Mennonite Home at age of 104, formerly of Colchester Village. Gladys is now home with her Lord and Savior. Predeceased by her husband Richard Simpson (1971). Beloved mother of Ruth (late Victor) Robinson, Grace-Anne (Edward) Zusko, Richard Simpson and David (Diane) Simpson. Loving grandma of Charlene (Greg) Aldous, Carol (Frank) Miller, Todd Robinson, Dara (Martin) Kobele, Darrett Zusko, Richard Simpson, Debbie Simpson and Rebecca Simpson, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister and brothers. Gladys was a faithful member of the Harrow Baptist Church and Campbell Baptist Church. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private family graveside service will be held at Victoria Memorial Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Daily Bread, one of Gladys’ favourite ministries. She spent many hours walking around Colchester handing them out.
