God called Giovanni peacefully on December 28, 2021 at the age of 90. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife, Anna Paola. Always remembered by his dear children, Rose (Oscar), the late- Joe and Angelo (Jennifer). Giovanni was a proud Nonno to, Giancarlo, Alexandria, Giovanni and Andre. Never forgotten by his siblings, the late- Frank, the late- Raffaele, the late- Michele, Teresa, Saverio and Eustacchio. He will be held dear in this hearts of his family, relatives and many friends. Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario. Tel. 905-850-9500) on Sunday January 2, 2022 from 4-9pm. The funeral service will be celebrated at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Road, Woodbridge, Ontario) on Monday January 3, 2022 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, Ontario). If so desired, donations in honour of Giovanni may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. As the restriction and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. As always, our highly trained staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if an assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact. This also includes at the cemetery.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
