Gilles Fauquembergue 2021

À la mémoire de
Gilles Fauquembergue

All those who crossed his path were touched by his listening skills, his curiosity, his desire to connect with others, his sense of humor and his generosity. He loved nature, canoeing, woodworking, music, traveling around the world but especially in Nepal where he had done humanitarian work. He dreamed of taking his children and grandchildren on a trek to the mountains of Nepal.
He took his last breath at home, surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
A gathering will be held in his honor on Thursday, September 23 at the Mount Royal Funeral Complex from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. All those who knew Gilles are invited to join us and share their memories.
The family encourages donations to the Hope and Cope Centre, a center that supported Gilles during his battle with cancer, or to the
organisation Écoliers du Népal, a Belgian association for schooling and aid to disadvantaged Nepalese communities.
