Geraldine Rowe
Geraldine Rowe, age 67, went
home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday May 9, 2021. She
passed away due to lengthy illnesses at the George Dumont Hospital in
Moncton, NB. She was surrounded by loved ones as she peacefully
entered into the realm of eternity and to her home in heaven with her
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Geraldine was born on April 14,
1954 in Amherst, Nova Scotia to the late Arthur Meunier and Dorothy
Meunier. She spent most of her life in New Brunswick especially in
Moncton. She was known as a woman of faith in Jesus Christ and lived a
life that exemplified the love of Christ for others. Over the years
she was a member of Pathway Church of God, Faithlife Church and Faith
Christian Fellowship. People knew her to have a huge loving heart
especially towards others. She was kind and full of compassion for
others, especially those in need as exemplified in her volunteer work
at places like New Life Mission, the Christian Foodbank, and the East
End Boys & Girls Club, etc. over the years. She loved working
at Walmart in Dieppe, NB and loved the people she worked with. She has
touched the lives of all who had the honor to know and love her and
was highly respected and very much loved by family and
friends.
She is survived by her husband
Len Rowe, her two sons: Leo Lirette (Fiance: Gabby Gaudreau) and Paul
Lirette (Wife: Rosanne Lirette), her brother Arthur Meunier
(Girlfriend: Charlene), Grand Daughter Destiny Tenass (Husband: Harley
Tenass), Her Step Children: Anthony Rowe Lecoure, Jason Lecoure (Wife:
Carrie Lecoure), Wade Lecoure (Wife: Stella Lecoure), Dana Rowe
(Husband: Ron Arsenault), niece RoseMary Brewer (Husband Nicholas
Brewer), nephews , cousins, aunts, uncles, many grandchildren and
great grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by all of her
family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of
Geraldine’s Life for members of the family on Saturday May
15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Faith Christian Fellowship Church (70 King
Street, Moncton, NB). The service will be officiated by Pastor Shawn
Annis. For those attending the service, all Covid 19 health
regulations and guidelines will be observed including wearing a mask
during the service and social distancing and all others. The family
wants to thank everyone for their love and support at this
time.
