Gerald Guy Monday June 14th 2021

In loving memory of Gerald Norman Guy, 79 years passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Health Sciences North surrounded by his loving family. Beloved wife of Paulette Philion-Guy. Loving father of Kevin (Vivianne), Todd (Sylvie), April and stepsons, Richard Philion (Lynn), Donald Philion (Lynne) and Gilles Philion (Angela). Cherished grandfather of Christian (Nilou), Dominic, Christopher (Kellie), Krystal (Carly), Megan (Ryan), Joshua (Sara), Shawn and great grandchildren Caidence, Nolan, Ryan and Caleb. Dear son of Roland and Audrey (Renaud) Guy both predeceased. Dear brother of Sharon Shane (Lyall predeceased), Sandra Wiersma (Kent), Brian Guy (Stevie) and brother-in-law of Mariette. He is predeceased by his brothers Gary (Diane) and Dwayne. Gerald was a life-long truck driver who was truly happy behind the wheel of a big rig. He loved fishing and hunting with his family. With a guitar and harmonica, Gerald could be the life of the party and bring a smile and a song to everyone. Gerald lived a full and active life, where the simple things in life and nature gave him so much joy. He will be missed, but never forgotten by all who knew him. A funeral visitation and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
