Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Margaret for 59 years. Loving Dad of Lana Gould (Bill Lindsay) and Christina Kempel (Joseph). Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Elizabeth McLeod (David) and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Harry and Flossie and sister, Colleen McCutcheon (Don).
George’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A private memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 pm on Friday, June 11, 2021. Those wishing to attend his visitation must RSVP through the funeral home website.
