Geoffrey Walter Gates
April 4, 1964 – January 9, 2021
Geoff passed away peacefully on Jan 9, 2021 at 56 years of age in Toronto, Ontario. Dear father of Benjamen Gates. Dear brother of James (Terry) and Stephen (Cyndy). Dear uncle of Hayden and Melissa (Stewart). Special uncle to many others he considered his own family who will miss him. Pre-deceased by loving parents Eleanor (2007) and Frank (2014). Geoffrey was a kind, gentle, free spirit who appreciated all the support he received from his family and friends during his life. Cremation has taken place. A small graveside ceremony to celebrate Geoffrey’s life will take place at a future date. The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Toronto Western Hospital who kept him comfortable.
