Obituary of Garry Wise
Garry passed away peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services with his family by his side, on Tuesday November 30th, 2021. Born on November 8th, 1925 in Owen Sound, Garry Horton Wise, of Owen Sound was in his 97th year.
Dearly loved husband of Jacqueline Wise (nee Gilchrist). Loving father of Larry Wise (Patricia), Linda Wise Hendry (Mark), of Owen Sound and Tom Wise (Janet), of The City of Kawartha Lakes. Proud grandfather of Jessica (Mark), Shannon, Kathryn (Scott), Gregory (Sydney), Mackenzie and Mitchell. Great-grandfather of Luke, Vivienne and Anna.
Garry was a proud member of the Canadian Forces, serving in Germany, Holland and Belgium during World War II.
Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
