Gail Lynette
Martin
February 8, 1968- December 20,
2021
It is with the utmost sadness we
announce the passing of Gail, after a courageous battle of cancer that
she fought with strength and grace. She will be deeply missed by her
parents, Clyde and Ella. Her brother Rob and his wife Tanya. Her
nephew and niece, Chase and Paige. Her aunts and uncles Pat and Bill,
Ted and Elaine, Beulah and Kevin. Her many cousins, Shawn, Pamela
(Peter), Dawn (David), Chandra (Craig), Tyler (Amber). As well as her
many other family members.
Gail loved life. She loved being with
family and spending time in Newfoundland and Florida. Fishing and
being on the water. Being outside golfing, hiking, and riding her
bike. Doing all of these things with family and capturing all of the
moments in pictures.
She gave freely of her time to watch
her nephew Chase play hockey and her niece Paige at gymnastics and
trampoline.
Always up for any outing, Gail was
quick to say yes to a road trip, concert, or any plan. She would have
the biggest bag packed but it always contained treats for everyone and
the coziest blankets.
Always so thoughtful she made
each person’s birthday or Christmas special by taking time
to shop for the right gift and little
extras.
Gail spent 35 years as an employee of
TD Bank. She won numerous awards for dedication, attention to detail
and work ethic. She always took pride in any task she did, ensuring
that she did her best.
Please remember Gail for her kind,
caring and generous nature. Her smile lights the way to
goodness.
Interment and celebration of life to be
held at a later date in Hickman’s Harbor, Newfoundland. In
lieu of flowers, we welcome you to make a donation to the charity of
your choice.
Bishop’s Funeral Home
