Obituary
On May 13, 2021 Frieda Jess of Ponoka passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 86 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Dale Jess (Debra) and grandchildren Kyla (Markus) and Joel (Meli); son Don Jess (Della) and grandchildren Cassidy (Curtis), Logan (Kaley), and Jolene; daughter Carol Jess and grandchildren Jess (Rai) and Adam; daughter Lorrie Jess and grandchildren Emma (Joey), Nola (Christopher), and Jacob; daughter Noreen Tofsrud (Kevin) and grandchildren Bobbi (Kelvin) and Jodie (Kelly); twelve great-grandchildren; her brother Alfred Schatschneider and sister Leona Rix (Alton); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Frieda was predeceased by her husband Otto and son-in-law Aubrey Curran.
Due to the current restrictions, a private family Funeral Service is being held. The service will be broadcast from Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 and the link for the live-stream can be found on at the bottom of this page. The Interment Service will follow at Forest Home Cemetery in Ponoka.
