Obituary of Fred Hulst
Hulst, Fred of Aylmer passed away peacefully at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Thursday, November 25, 2021 in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Joyce(Peters) Hulst. Dear father of Mark(Darlene), Rick(Lynn) and Denise(Hulst) Borremans and stepson Kerry Emerson. Loving grandfather of Candace(Andrew), Cuyler, Kevin, Tori, Marc and Paul(Shonna) and great-grandfather of Emma. Brother of Rinus Hulst(Audrey), Bob Hulst, and Kiny McGee(Terry). Brother-in-law of Annie Hulst, Larry Plaquette and Mary Ruth Hulst. He will be missed by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Andy and John Hulst, a sister Marilyn Plaquette and sister-in-law Corrie Hulst. Born in The Netherlands on August 29, 1943, son of the late Andries and Antje (Jeeninga) Hulst. Fred was a brick mason in Aylmer for many years. He coached Aylmer Minor Hockey and enjoyed the fellowship of friends at the Aylmer Optimist Club and Columbus Club. Fred owned and operated Puds Pizza in the 80’s. A celebration of life will be held at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior(Masks and social-distancing are required). Cremation-Burial, Aylmer Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Columbus Club (Proof of vaccination is required). Donations to the Aylmer Optimist Club Toy Drive or Diabetes Assoc. would be appreciated.
