Frank Herbert Dolling CEng MICE PEng May 08 1942 June 13 2021

Frank Herbert Dolling, CEng, MICE, PEng
May 08, 1942 – June 13, 2021

Died in Burlington, ON after a prolonged illness following a single lung transplant in 2016 at Toronto General. Beloved husband of Margaret for over fifty-three years. Loving father of Fiona (Andrew) and Jennifer (Mark) and proud Grandad of Alastair, Bryce, and Emily. Brother to Jane Currie (John) in Bramley, UK.
Born in Glasgow, Frank was a graduate of Glasgow University and began his career as a Civil Engineer in the City before moving to Kent and then Vancouver in 1980. Thereafter he worked in Toronto for various engineering firms prior to his retirement in 2011 with a focus on water treatment and supply.
He was a quiet man with a wry sense of humour, and an avid classical music fan. Whilst in good health he thoroughly enjoyed attending concerts in Toronto. He leaves behind many life-long friends in the UK and Canada.
At Frank’s request there will be no funeral. Cremation has taken place and when possible some of his ashes will be scattered in Scotland at the resting place of his parents.
