Florence Caines (Lace)
It is with great sadness that the family of Florence Caines (nee Lace) announces her passing at her home at Rencontre East, Fortune Bay on Sunday, October 31, 2021, age 83 years.
Florence leaves to mourn her loving family: daughters, Jesse Boser at Red Deer, AB, Eliza Ann Mullins (Lloyd) at Harbour Breton, Irene Hardy (Carmen) at Rencontre East and Maxine Howell (Melvin) at Foxtrap; sons, John Caines (Karen) at Rencontre East, Robert Caines (Sherry) at Mount Pearl and Corey Caines (Torina) at Rencontre East; brother, Regal Lace at Nova Scotia ; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her husband, Reginald; parents, Simeon and Eliza Lace; sisters, Emily Battiste, Marion Evans and Sadie Leamon; brothers, Bill Lace, Clyde Lace and Edward Lace.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church at Rencontre East with Rev. Tryphena Vallis officiating. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Rencontre East.
