It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Flora Fuellas Hanson mourns her sudden passing on December 18th, 2021 at the age of 66 years old.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Eric; sisters: Rosalinda (Albino), Myrna and Annie; brother, Manuel (Nancy); her former spouse, Robert; as well as her numerous relatives and friends both here and around the world.
She was predeceased by her brother, Rico and her parents, Paciencia & Agapito Fuellas.
An adventurer by heart, Flora grew up in the Philippines longing to travel the world and help others. With a background in Pharmacy and a BSc degree in Nursing, Flora worked both in the Philippines and Canada in various healthcare fields while dedicating her life to bringing joy, inspiration and optimism to the many fortunate people who got to know her. A devout Catholic, she was involved in the church as well as the Filipino community where she often volunteered her time cooking and helping serve food to the community along with helping newcomers transition to their new life in Canada. She loved to travel, cook and discover new cuisine, as well as decorate and design her house and garden whenever she had free time to spare. She loved life and we hope she gets to discover even more of the world in spirit.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 31 at 10:00 a.m. The service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. Please click here to watch the service.
