Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Saturday, November 20th, 2021, Flora Ford (nee Miller) at 94 years of age. With great sadness we announce the loss of a loving mother, grandma, aunt and friend. Beloved wife of the late Perry Wilfred Ford. Mother of Gary Ford. Dear grandmother of Andrew, Tyler, Kurtis, Jacob and Stephanie. Predeceased by her sister, Mabel Wass. Survived by her sisters-in-law Julia Ford and Olive McRoberts. Also greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Flo was a long standing member of St. Peter’s Church and an active supporter of her community. An honourary status member of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ontario (The Ladies Orange Benevolent Association) and long term care volunteer at the Golden Plough Lodge and other retirement facilities in Northumberland. A graveside service will be held at Heritage Cemetery of St. Peter in Cobourg on Tuesday, November 23rd at 2 p.m. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Those wishing may make a memorial donation to St. Peter’s Anglican Church Cobourg.
