Obituary of Faye Porrior
PORRIOR (MILLER) , Faye Irene, age 90, of Lantz, passed away peacefully at Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro, with her cherished niece, Cindy and nephew Jeff by her side.
Born in Lantz she was a daughter of Austin and Jacqueline (Woodworth) Miller.
Faye worked for RBC as a teller early in her career. She was employed with Mutual of Omaha at the Halifax International Airport for many years as a supervisor. After retiring from her role at the airport, she did accounting work for TK’s Carpet. Faye was a big supporter and a card-carrying member of the provincial PC Party. She was a life member of Christ Anglican Church and was very active in the ACW.
She is survived by niece, Cindy Miller, nephews Jeff and Craig Miller and their families, she is also survived by her husband Eric‘s children, Stephen, Brian, Rodger and Paul and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband, Canon Eric Porrior, and their dog Angus, brother Keith (Roxie), sister, Joyce (Bob and Ed), nephew, Gary, nieces in-law, Judy MacDonald and Carmelle Cleary.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Lantz, Reverend Canon David Fletcher officiating.
A reception will follow in Ettinger Funeral Home, 888 Highway 2, Elmsdale.
