MAHON, Evelyn (née Isherwood)
March 26, 1935 – January 30, 2021
On the morning of Saturday, January 30th, Evelyn Mahon of Lindsay passed away peacefully at home in her 86th year.
She was a loving mother to Brian (Marian) Mahon, Shirley (Tom) Lucas, Darrel (Colleen) Mahon, Mary Jane (Mark) Williams, Kevin (Marla) Mahon, and Ken (Trish) Mahon.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Addie (Jeremy), Nathan, Bailey, Joe, Hannah (Rob), Quinn, Jessica, Meg, Zachary, Danielle, Mackenzie, Madison and Thomas, and her great grandchildren: Lachlan, Griffin, Sawyer, Thatcher, Urban, Effie, Uma and Edie. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews, friends and her Combermere family. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Neal, her parents Amelia and Albert Isherwood, and her siblings Sonny Isherwood, Norm Isherwood and Barbara Cook. Survived by her brother Dick Isherwood. Evelyn spent many years of her life volunteering in the Ops community. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren, and fond memories were made by all at her home of over 15 years in Combermere, ON. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Adelaide Place in Lindsay for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, a memorial donation to a foundation that is close to your heart would be appreciated by the family. Donation can be made through the Stoddart Funeral Home or online at www.stoddartfuneralhome.com
