BUSCH, Evan William
Evan Busch died peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre, on Monday, Novemer 29, 2021. He was 87 years old. Evan was the beloved husband of Marlene (Grasser) of North Bay. He was the much-loved father of Debbie Rennette (Rodney) of Powassan, Brenda Kmith (Bryon) of Trout Creek, Brian Busch (Linda) of Trout Creek and Bruce Busch (Shelley) of Callander; grandfather of Tyler and Chris Rennette, Travis and Jeff Kmith, Mike, Kyle, Cody, Brandon, Devan and Skyler Busch; and great-grandfather of 19. Evan was the dear brother of Dinton “Dinty” Busch of Powassan, Del Crosetta (the late Renzo) of Port Elgin, Adwina Whitsett (Paul) of Val Caron, Rick Busch (Jackie) of North Bay, Nita Dargie of North Bay, Noreen Leroux of Powassan and Glen Busch of Powassan. He was predeceased by his siblings Delores Grawbarger, Eric Busch (Jeannette Eckensviller of North Bay), Clarice Hummel (Ron of Powassan), Edwin “Eddy” Busch (the late Helen) and Ronald Busch (Judy of Powassan). He will be fondly remembered by his siblings-in-law Rhonda and David Mullin of Coldwater and JoyAnn and Glen Eckensviller of Trout Creek and was predeceased by Melvin and Alma Grasser, and Lorraine and John Lingenfelter. Evan was a longtime resident of Trout Creek. He was retired from a career as Foreman at Dupont Explosives Manufacturing in North Bay. Evan and Marlene had recently moved to Empire Living Centre in North Bay. The family will receive visitors from 1 to 2 pm at the Paul Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Funeral service to follow at 2 pm. Attendance is private, but the service will be live-streamed (see link below). Interment of ashes will take place in the spring of 2022. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society are suggested (see below).
