Obituary of Euphemia Adair
ADAIR-Euphemia -With love and fond memories we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother and Nana, Euphemia Adair on September 14th, 2006 at the PCGH. Born in Neil’s Harbour NS, Phemie called many places home including North Sydney NS, Orangeville and Nobelton before retiring to Port Colborne 26 years ago. Over her 95 years she touched and enriched many people’s lives through her career choices, her culinary skills, her ndless energy and her amazing quick wit. Fiercely independent she knew how to adjust calmly to whatever life tossed her way. A die-heart Toronto Maple Leaf and Blue Jay fan, Phemie spent a lot of time watching the games and kibitzing with her good friend, Craig Davis. Thanks for going that extra mile. We hope she broke even on those 10 cent bets. She was the beloved mother of Carleton Jr. Grandmother of Buddy (Darlene), Gary (Sheila) & Kim (Grant). Great grandmother of Brian, Carley, Rachel, Jason, Michael, Katie, Alaina & Brianne. Dear friend of Donna MacLean and family. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Carleton Sr, daughter-in-law Shirley, and grandson Jim. The Adair family would like to thank the staff and her friends at Lakeside Place for the consideration and watchful care you gave her over the last 4 years. She enjoyed her time there. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES 135 Clarence St.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Euphemia
