Ethel Elizabeth Knox nee Kerr 19462021

Ethel Elizabeth Knox (nee Kerr)
1946-2021
With
profound sadness and family by her side at the Queen Elizabeth
Hospital on Sunday, April 25, 2021, the unexpected passing of Ethel
Elizabeth Knox (nee Kerr) of Knox’s Dam, aged 74. Ethel was the
beloved and cherished wife of the late James Knox, who predeceased her
in 2016. A most devoted “Mom” will be sadly missed by
daughter Sydney Janet Cudmore (Dale) of Montague, and she’ll forever
be remembered as a loving and loyal “Grammy” to Martha,
Zach, and Holly, and a dear sister to brother Blaine Kerr (Lydia) of
Montague.
Born in Montague on October
23, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Mae (MacLeod)
Kerr. She was predeceased by precious grandson Sam in infancy. Ethel
is also survived by brother-in-law Richard (Janet) Knox of Knox’s Dam,
sister-in-law Lily MacLean of Charlottetown. and she’s left fond and
loving memories for several nieces and nephews, along with numerous
extended family members, friends, neighbours, former nursing
colleagues, and her church family – all of whom can testify of Ethel’s
compassion, generosity, kindness, hospitality, and concern for
others.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Inclusions East
(Kingswood Centre) Building Fund, would be appreciated. Funeral will
be available to view here on Ethel’s Obituary on Saturday, May 1 at
2pm.
