On November 24, 2021, Mr. Ernest “Ernie” Cherniwchan of Bellis passed away at the age of 79 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patricia; son, Trevor (Joleah); daughter, Francine; 4 grandchildren, Kole, Gavin, Jayda & Jemma; 2 sisters, Irene Ropcean & Marcie Bochar; numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Cherniwchan was predeceased by his parents, Medoria & Andrew; brother, John; sisters, Anne, Betty, Katie & Mary. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Private Funeral Service will be held at Bellis Hall, Bellis. Reverend Father Benny Ambrosie will be officiating, with interment in North Bellis Cemetery, Bellis.
