Emma Lizzy Parsons nee Tuff

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Emma Lizzy Parsons (nee Tuff). She passed away peacefully at Lakeside Home in Gander on December 17, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
Emma was born September 17, 1934 in Templeman. At a young age she moved to Glovertown where she met and later married Walter Parsons of Gooseberry Island. She will live on in the hearts and memories of her five sons and their families: Wayne (Phyllis) of Kentville, NS; Thomas (Daphne) of Glovertown; Raymond (Audrey) of Pickering, ON; Kenneth (Denise) of Glovertown; Glen (Sheila) of Kentville, NS. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, December 20, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Oram’s Funeral Home in Glovertown. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2 pm at Faith United Church, Glovertown. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitors to the funeral home and the church must provide proof of double vaccination and wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Lakeside Home in Gander.
