Elizabeth’s Obituary
Peterson, Elizabeth “Betty” Jean – 91, Tatamagouche, passed away June 19th, 2021 in Willow Lodge, Tatamagouche. Born in Saint John, NB and raised in Woodstock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Muriel (Lingley) Stevens. Betty married Peter Peterson on June 27, 1953. They lived in various places in Canada with Peter’s postings with the RCMP. They enjoyed motorcycling, boating and traveling. Betty treasured spending time with her family. She loved all animals, especially dogs. She is survived by her daughters, Patti (Steve Abbey) and Jill, both of Tatamagouche; sister, Charlotte Shaw, Woodstock, NB; grandsons, Vinnie and Tim; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Shelby and Ellie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter; brother, Doug. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, June 24 in Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche.
