Obituary for
Elizabeth Annette Young
Young (Noblett), Elizabeth “Betty” Annette – Age 80, Truro, passed away on August 6, 2021 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, N.S. at the age of 80. Betty was born in Truro to the late George and Maud Noblett (nee Saunders).
Betty is predeceased by her loving husband, Gary Young; brothers, Bert and Victor Noblett.
Betty is survived by her loving son, James (Amy) Young, Truro and two grandsons, Joshua and Jayden.
Betty was always an animal lover, master baker and home maker. She enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, painting, gardening and spending quality time with her family.
The family would like to thank the CEHHC Palliative Care Unit staff for their tender and compassionate care in her final days, as well as close friends and campground family who were there for her in her time of need. Betty will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colchester SPCA. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
