Amy was born in Pugwash, NS and lived her early years in Linden NS, moving to Hamilton, Ontario in 1963. She attended Inverness School (grade school) and Hill Park Secondary School in Hamilton, ON and M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington, ON.
She worked at a number of jobs before becoming employed at Ford Motor Company in Oakville where she worked for 10 years.
She moved back to Nova Scotia in 1987 and within a few years started working at Moir’s Chocolates in Dartmouth NS until she took a early retirement.
She is survived by her loving husband Peter, she also leaves her sister Mary (Terry), Fredericton, NB and brother Bert (Diane), Dieppe, NB and several nieces and nephews. Services are being planned and will be posted when finalized.
