Obituary of Edward George Hobbs
Passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Welland Hospital in his 89th year.
Predeceased by his son Bruce (2011).
He will be missed by his loving wife of 65 years Marjorie and daughter Kathy (Doug) Cressey. Dear grandpa of Carrie (Adam), Averil (Shayne), Paula and Jason and great grandpa of Lilith, Aidan, Hannah, Tristan and Elliot. Also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Mildred and sisters Helen, Marie and Charlene.
Edward was a dedicated employee of INCO, retiring in 1984 after 35 years of service.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private burial of cremated remains at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens at a later date.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or a charity of choice.
