Halley, Edward Joseph “Joe” It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Joe Halley 72, Cole Harbour on August 31, 2021 in Hospice Halifax. Joe was born September 17, 1948 in Dublin, Ireland. He was a son of the late Dr. Leonard and Mary (Hodge) Halley. He is survived by his son Christopher (Roxanne) Smith and grandchildren Liam and Kyleigh; sisters Sharon (Bruce) Marryatt and Marie Halley; brother John (Rose) Halley; sister in law Nancy (Frankie) Kerfont and many nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by his wife, Judy; brothers Kerry and Lennie Halley. Joe retired after a long career with Air Liquide. He was an active member in the Army, Navy and Airforce Club and enjoyed bowling, darts and bingo; he also enjoyed spending time with his wife Judy at their trailer in Salt Springs. Special thanks to the staff at the Hospice Halifax. A celebration of Joe’s life will take place at the Army, Navy and Airforce Club, 147 Main Street, Dartmouth, 3 – 6pm on 11 September 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Halifax.
