Edward (Eddy)’s Obituary
After a short battle with cancer, Eddy peacefully passed away on August 31st in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Margo Kopp (Cumin) for 45 years and father of Jeremy (Kate) and Martin (Katie). Eddy’s five grand-children; Oliver, Simone, Zoey, Hunter and Mason will dearly miss “Papa’s” playful nature and fun-loving spirit. Predeceased by his Father Emil Kopp, Mother Emma Kopp and brother Andy. His family had lived in Toronto and area since immigrating to Canada many years ago. His extended Cumin family will miss him dearly and always remember how congenially he fit into the clan and cherish the memories of his quick wit and spirit!
Eddy’s friends and colleagues in the investment business will always remember his sharp one-liners, mentor ship, and ability to make others enjoy the profession. His love for skiing began at the High Park Ski Club in Toronto and lead the family to countless seasons at The Beaver Valley Ski Club where cherished friendships remain to this day. Eddy also enjoyed the camaraderie of golf and the feel of the daily newspaper. Eddy treasured the neighbor and Church friends he made in the communities he called home from the family years through retirement. The importance of kindness and spirituality has always guided Eddy throughout the years as a husband and father of two sons.
