Edouard «Eddie» Mills
1938-2021
Edouard «Eddie» Mills, 83, of Bouctouche, passed away
peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Saturday November 27,
2021. He was married to Bertha (Allain) Mills. Born in Bouctouche, he
was the son of the late Jean-Baptiste and the late Yvonne (LeBlanc)
Mills.
Eddie had a long career in car sales.
He was a very devoted family man who cherished his wife, children and
grandchildren. He was always there for his family.
Eddie served many years on different committees; he was a former
member of the Bouctouche Co-op, the Caisse Populaire, Saint-Jean
Ambulance and the Vestiare Saint-Jean-Baptiste.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Bertha, his children; Denis
(Rachelle) of Notre-Dame, Carole Léger (Gaétan) of
Haute-Aboujagane, his grandchildren; Stéphanie, Natasha, Jessica
and Jérémy. He also leaves to mourn his sister, Rosalie
Cormier (late Yvon) of Bouctouche Bay, his brother, Néri
(Cécile) of Moncton and several nieces and nephews.
Eddie was predeceased by one brother Frederick.
Visitations will be held at Maillet Funeral Home, 29 rue de
l’Eglise, Bouctouche on Thursday December 2, 2021 from 1 to
2:45pm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 2,
2021 at the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Roman Catholic Church, Bouctouche at
3:00pm.
PROOF OF VACCINATIONS WITH ID AND FACE MASK ARE MANDATORY AT THE
FUNERAL HOME AND THE CHURCH AS PER PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES.
In Eddie’s memory a donation can be made to CHU Dumont Hospital
Foundation «oncology».
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
