SHORT, Edna Renee Elizabeth – of Brighton, passed away at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday, November 28th, 2021 at the age of 88. Edna was the daughter of the late George and Fanny (Buddon) Fifield. Beloved wife of Nicholas ‘Nick’ Short. Loved mother of Linda Wilkins of Bowmanville, Harold (Mildred) Short of Castleton, Leona (David) Locke of Tweed, Gerald Short of Oshawa, Vera Short (George ‘Bobby’ Cheeseman) of Castleton, and Duane Short of Colborne. Lovingly remembered by eighteen grandchildren and thirty-three great-grandchildren. Survived by brother Robert (Kathy) Fifield of Roberts Arm, NL. Funeral Service will be held at the Brighton Funeral Home, 130 Main Street West, Brighton (613-475-2121) on Wednesday, December 1st, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Pastor Glen Halliwell officiating.
