After a lengthy illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital on December 28, 2021 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Zelia for 56 years. Devoted father of Paul (Gorette), Emanuel (Paula), and Jerry. Will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Johnny (Angelina), David, Sara (JP), Zackary, Marcus and Olivia. Proud great-grandfather to Lucas Matteo, Lorenzo Matthew, and Enzo. Predeceased by his parents Mario and Maria de Lordes Borges. Dear brother of Jose Jacinto (Maria de Lourdes), Luis Manuel (Maria de Lourdes), Mario Joao (Ilda), and Maria de Graca (Ricky). Edmundo will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital (CTU North) for their compassionate care of our dear Father and Avo. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL(43 Barton St. E, Hamilton) on Thursday December 30, 2021 from 2-5 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Church (Park St.) on Friday December 31, 2021 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven cemetery (Burlington). In keeping with COVID-19 precautions, all guests are required to practice physical distancing and wear a face covering. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
