E. Patrick’s Obituary
Hanlon, E. Patrick – 62, of Oxford, passed away June 29, 2021, at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Karl F. and Isabelle “Debbie” (Nolan) Hanlon. Pat had worked at many jobs in many places; as a personal care worker at the Sunset Community; the village of Pugwash; The Bill Lynch Show’s; a chain saw, power saw and bush operator for Lands and Forests, Oxford; Ski Wentworth; a print shop bindery operator; a warehouse clerk; a production assistant at Sunset Industries. In his younger years he lived in the United States where he worked on motorcycles, cars and a bit of carpentry. He was a “man of all trades”. His hobbies included his love of motorcycles; dogs and all animals; playing his guitar or drums; listening to all kinds of music; fishing; hunting; boating and playing baseball. As a boy he had been involved with the Boy Scouts and the Sea Cadets. Surviving are his sons, Nolan and Levon Hanlon, Calgary, Alberta; grandchildren, Addy & Grayson, who he loved with all his heart; sister, Coleen Hanlon; nieces and nephew, Shannon, Sara, Jackie, Devon; aunt, June Anderson and son’s Jamie, John, Jeremy, Jeffrey. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Hanlon; brother, Karl Hanlon Jr. In keeping with Pat’s wishes a private graveside service will be held at the Riverside Cemetery, Wallace River. He will be laid to rest with his mom, dad, brother and sister. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
