Dr. Keith Macleod died Sunday, May 16, 2021 following a prolonged illness. Son of the late James C. and Flora Macleod, he was predeceased by his brother Dr. Kenneth Macleod (1993) (Phyllis). A graduate of Walkerville Collegiate and Queen’s University Medical School, Dr. Macleod practiced in Windsor for 40 years as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist with his medical partner Dr. John Fry. He served as Chief of Ob-Gyn at Hotel Dieu, Metropolitan and Windsor Regional Hospitals. A past president of the Es County Medical Society, he also served on many committees locally, provincially, and internationally, including the Council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, the Advisory Committee on Reproductive Care to the Minister of Health (Ontario) and the Committee of Gynecologic Practice of the American College of Ob-Gyn. In recognition of his service he was elected to life membership in the O.M.A. and C.M.A. and awarded the Life Achievement Award of the Ontario Society of Ob-Gyn in 2010. He is survived by his dear wife of 61 years, Lorraine, his children Jamie, Jennifer Branton (Tom) and David, as well as 5 well-loved grandchildren. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation. Due to COVID virus restrictions a private family graveside service has been held.
